Vegetables and fruit!

I confess when we first started this stay-at-home thing the cheapest and easiest stuff to get was unfortunately junk food. I sadly Partook in this consumption because it was a basics of what we had. Thankfully today, my husband visited two different grocery stores and helped stock us up on our veggies and fruit. This should last us this week and hopefully weekend. The country is too close over the weekend so I'm pretty sure we should be good. I confess while I washed the vegetables, I ate a lot of the radishes. But I rather fill up on natural foods than junk food. I found that when I consumed some crackers or other items, I kept feeling hungry but when I eat a lot of vegetables, I get full faster. Keep drinking tons of water.

What is your stress reliever?

Stress reliever. Do you garden? Well I am not completely a green thumb, but I do like to see a plant grow from a seed or from a starter of another plant. I think doing any activity with her hands can help us relieve stress. Some people are doing puzzles, others draw, I know I love to quilt. gardening or taking care of our plants is another stress reliever for me. It's away from the computers, less screen time. Just overall very good. Not to mention the vitamin D and physical activity. We have a planter in front of the town home and so it was overgrown with grass. When the stay home order started, I ripped out all the grass. Then my daughters and I brought some plants from our other plants. Then my husband wonderfully got me some black paper and White Rock. Yesterday we put the White Rock down. On my nose you can see the white dust from the White Rock. anyway it may not be a work of art and landscaping but my daughters and I did it and we are so happy. Getting back!

Yep I'm feeling more "back" this week!! It's good. I've never'left' but I've clearly not been as engaged as I used to be. Food has and is my first daily battle. Fitness is my next battle. Mindset is everything. When I call a battle that's exactly what it'll be. Instead I'm going to flip the switch and make it more of my responsibility. So try looking at it all differently. Be responsible, and control, and have the power to increase the quality of your life.

Got out!

Finally got out today because of this guy. He wanted to go find Pokemon. We were never able to do that when it was popular so no time like now. It was awesome because we were distracted walking finding these things instead of thinking about how exhausting it was to go up and down these hills. 🤣 I need to walk more, move more, Lift more, and just be overall more mindful of Health and wellness. Now that we are 7 weeks past our new normal it's time to figure out how to control what I can control within the new normal. Life is good, so very good. by the way, can I be honest and let you know that yesterday I felt extremely awful. I don't know what it was but I had the worst headache ever but I pushed through to do my regular mom duties and work duties. By the afternoon I was really miserable. I remember telling myself when I felt better to not forget how good it feels to feel good. Today I feel good and I am enjoying it. Being present more than ever. How are you doing? Know that ev...
