Giving yourself time

Our culture seems to always be in a hurry. Mainly for results. But in order to get to the results that we desire, it takes a lot of work and patience. Of course, we all want desires now, but realistically it takes time and patience is a virtue as they say.

Recovering from surgery is definitely going to take time even though I would like to have full mobility now. No one wants to be laid up and restricted on physical activity. But I know that this time is necessary in order for me to have a longer lasting healthy physical life. It's the reason why I chose to fix something that has been not 100% my whole life. I am so glad I was blessed with the ability to have the surgery and now going through the recovery.

Writing down my desires and goals and dreams help me stay on focus of what will honestly dictate what I do daily. It helps me from eating the wrong things doing and saying the wrong things. I like to live my life more pleasant and be a blessing and help others as much as I can while helping myself. I fully believe this is a personal responsibility that I have here on earth.

We were made for a purpose and we need to fulfill that purpose as best as we can with the resources we have. No we won't be perfect. Yes we will make mistakes. The best thing that we do is keep moving forward. Living life with support and encouragement is golden. Living life alone and lonely is not very fun or desirable. I like for anyone to know that they do not have to do life's challenges alone. I want them to know they have support and encouragement.

Ask yourself daily what can you do to improve your areas of weakness. Make sure you utilize your strength to help reach your goals. Also, let me know how I can help support you or encourage you in your life's journey.
