Basic muffin in a mug recipe

Suggestion for breakfast or snack.  This is the basic recipe. http://allrecipes.com/personal-recipe/63188014/healthy-minute-muffin-in-a-mug Additional notes: Use a larger than normal mug for best results or you can experience mug overflow. Microwave for 1 minute, if you still see it looking wet or dry, then add 20 seconds at a time until you think it's well cooked. I forgot to add that you can eat it in the mug as is or  pop it out of the mug onto a plate and slice it.  You can top it with coconut oil or Nutiva shortening which is a  delicious butter. If you are not there yet then you can top it with a sugar free jelly or marmalade. Or you could top it with honey if your body can handle sugar. Other items to try would be to top it with a nut butter like almond butter or macadamia butter or cashew butter. As you can tell, you can get real creative process and never make it boring.

Giving yourself time

Our culture seems to always be in a hurry. Mainly for results. But in order to get to the results that we desire, it takes a lot of work and patience. Of course, we all want desires now, but realistically it takes time and patience is a virtue as they say. Recovering from surgery is definitely goi ng to take time even though I would like to have full mobility now. No one wants to be laid up and restricted on physical activity. But I know that this time is necessary in order for me to have a longer lasting healthy physical life. It's the reason why I chose to fix something that has been not 100% my whole life. I am so glad I was blessed with the ability to have the surgery and now going through the recovery. Writing down my desires and goals and dreams help me stay on focus of what will honestly dictate what I do daily. It helps me from eating the wrong thing s doing and saying the wrong things. I like to live my life more pleasant and be a blessing and help others as much ...

No perfect journey

You see a person where they are at that moment. You try to envision there life before the moment you meet them. No matter what, you'll never exactly know their journey. This video was made when I realized how some people perceived me health journey and day-to-day activities, as flawless or maybe even simple. That is not the case. Please know if you do not know me, I am a mother of four elementary aged kids, I helped my husband run our non profit, therefore I also homeschool all of our kids, we don't have any family or friends nearby to help, and most of our shopping is done at an open market. Nothing is guaranteed in our line of work, so it's a real go with the flow and hard for planning. I know my journey is no different than anyone elses. We all have our strengths, weaknesses, and wide spectrum of resources we have and don't have. Know you're not alone, and I'm here for support.
